Permutation & Combination



A bag Contains 5 black balls, 10 red balls and
12 white balls...Atmost in how many draws you
could get a pair....?

  3. Er...no. After picking out one black, one blue, and one red ball, the next ball drawn out must match one of them. So, 4 draws is correct.

  5. @Terminator - If you draw 3 balls out that are the same colour then you already had a pair after the second draw!

  8. i think question is framed wrongly which is making it dead easy...how about if i reframe: A bag Contains 5 black balls, 10 red balls and
    12 white balls...Atmost in how many draws you
    could get a pair of same color consecutively....?
