dumb & deaf



How can a deaf man without the help of anyone confirm that
he is not dumb?

    He is deaf.. not dumb.. so he can speak that he is not dumb...

    Put his hand across his mouth as he speaks. He can feel the movement of air as he speaks. Watch himself speak in a mirror.

    He can feel his throat as he speaks. Sounds are actually vibrations, and this should tell him if he's making any noise.
    Helen Keller used this method to teach herself to speak.
