  1. 6*[9(1x1)+12(2x1)+6(3x1)+4(2x2)+4(3x2)+1(3x3)] = 216

  2. Squares=1*6+9*6+4*6=84
    Rectangles=6(9+12+6+4+4+1)=6*36=196

  3. 216 rectangles of which 84 are squares.

  4. A cube has 6 face and each face has 4 straight lines intersecting 4 other.

    So to make a rectangle we need to select 2 horizontal and 2 vertical lines .

    So the possible number is 6 * (4C2 * 4C2) = 216

  5. if the squares are considered rectangles... would it not be 216 rectangles plus 84 squares? (300 rectangles and squares)

  6. One single square is a square as well as rectangle. i.e. square of 1
    2*2 square will have 4+1 squares and 4 rectangles i.e. squares of 1 + squares of 2 will be number of squares and squares and rectangles together will be cube of 2 making total number nine.i.e. cube of no.2
    3*3 square will have 14 squares and 22 rectangles making total of 36 i.e. Total number of squares =square of 1+square of2+square of 3 while sum total of squares and rectangles will be 36 i.e square of [1+2+3]
    In this manner total number of squares and rectangles can be calculated.

  8. I can solve a 3x3 cube in less than 2 minutes, trust me ive been doing it for 2 years and for a person doing it for 2 years i am really slow but there are 27 cublets which is a piece. (1 cublet= 1 piece) or if you want how many stickers you would use this formula.

    9x6 not that hard it is equal to 54
