Microsofts Puzzle

You have 5 jars of pills. Each pill weighs
10 gram, except for contaminated pills contained
in one jar, where each pill weighs 9 gm. Given
a scale, how could you tell which jar had the
contaminated pills in just one measurement?

Take 1 pill from ist jar, 2 pills from 2nd jar, 3 from 3rd , 4 from 4th jar and 5 from 5th jar.

Total -15 pills.

They should weigh 150 gms if each pill is of 10 gm.
Find the diff of actual wt with ref to 150 gm.

If wt is less bu 1 gm, it means one pill is of 9 gm. so 1st jar contains contaminated pills having wt of 9 gms each.
