The girl's mother is either Amar's mother too, or his aunt.

The girl's mothers half-brother, because if you think of it mother's brother is like her uncle. Amar's mother's father is his Grandfather. His grand father only had one child which was her uncle but her mom doesn't have the same father as the uncle but has two dad's and one mother.

I think she is his aunt. That the mother and Amir’s father are brother and sister.
replace the first work "her" with "my" and u will see that the girl in the picture is amar and she is talking about her own mother.

Aunt or mother, both are possible answers.
They are brother and sister...her mother's brother (uncle) is the only son of Amar's grandfather (uncle). So they are either sibling (same mother) or they would be cousins (different mothers, only bc they didnt specify how many daughters/children)

it doesn't specify there were 3 siblings. the brother of the girls mother is his uncle. so the sister of his uncle could be either his aunt or his mother.
I think we would need to assume that the girl's mother and her brother share the same father (i.e. no half-siblings). They share that father with Amar's mother.
So she is either Amar's sister or his cousin.
